Picklesdad found this wonderful looking mushroom in Tesco the other day, he thought it looked 'interesting', though he didn't have many ideas on what to actually DO with it.
It is an enoki mushroom and traditionally grows in Japan at the base of certain trees.
Our enoki's ended up in a mixed mushroom omelette. Unfortunately we weren't very keen and will stick to the closed cup, button variety in future!

I've just 'planted' some Enoki mushrooms in the garden. Now I know what they should look like if they manage to grow!
