HURRAH!! School trip to Thornham Park/Walks was a huge success even with the weather doing its best to ruin it. However it takes more than a bit of rain to ruin a day out for 19 Four year old children. Wellies and raincoats only add to the fun.
We learnt about oak trees, birds, pondlife and even saw a dead shrew ( a highlight for most)
The endless worry about travel was unnecessary in the end, as both pickle and myself were fine. Unfortunately the same cannot be said for our bus driver who was taken ill and a replacement had to be found, leaving us in the rain, with no bus and 20 minutes late back to school to collect our older children. However a lovely time was had by all.

Hi Picklesmum...Yippee - on a couple of counts,
a) that the school trip went okay and
b)(as Ruby said), we were hoping that you would get back to blogging, and you have...fab!
Talking of school trips, we're going to the zoo, zoo, zoo...only 30 kids though ;-)
